Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
If the TV is active, then all is OK. Just when the TV wakes up from power-down state for timer recording there is a problem - SammyGO not running then! See http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f= ... mer#p22361

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
SamyGO widget does not decrypt recordings, it merely disables the TV's DRM engine so that recordings are made unencrypted & can be played on any other device. Denny's drmdecrypt is useful for recordings made before the widget release date, or for new timer recordings.

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
I suppose it might be poss to have tool on TV to collect keys and .srf names only, then have PC app to read key & work on corresponding srf.
For now, I set sleep timer on TV to coincide with time when decrypt finishes while I leave for work

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
Seems OK now, reading drm key & has started decrypting big file @ ~1.1MB/s.

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
Yep, I double checked that the recording was actually made with drm, next re-enabled drm on TV, start playback of same content on TV & then run your decrypt tool. Always key 00 00...

Re: Samsung PVR Content Decrypting tool - beta
Hi denny. I don't even get that far, seems it fails to read key: ./drmdecrypt /dtv/usb/sda1/CONTENTS/20111123205013.srf /dtv/usb/sda1/CONTENTS/test.ts ========================================================= SamyGO - Samsung LED TV PVR Recording Decrypt =============================================...

Re: PIP with Satellite Tuner
Current PVR as you say juuso, only records from TV's internal DVB tuner sources: cable/antenna/satellite. Small correction: HDMI is a digital signal, but uncompressed (high bandwidth/bitrate). Interestingly, the D7000 & 8000 support Samsung Dual View, whereby the TV streams picture to remote net...

Re: successor for LE40C650?
I no longer have that set, so this is all from memory. The PVR menu item may well have been hidden, not greyed-out. There was certainly no need to change the model number, simply enter the service menu and use ruSamsungTVCommunicator to reveal the hidden menus/menu items with the "factory"...

Re: successor for LE40C650?
Method not as per wiki, but using "Factory" and "3-speed" buttons to unlock greyed-out PVR menu item as described here: http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2107
Yes, PVR worked, but navigation FF/RW was not as smooth as arm powered models.
