When already TV started (and rooted), I can unplug the USB and the root is stay (till switch off the tv). Just needed to plug another USB for TV recording...

I keep the USB stick always plugged and it works fine.

all is working fine. ftp, telnet on 23, nectar on 33, shell etc... a transparent widget is a good idea... now trying to check OSCAM, but it does not start (nothing to do with the root itself)

I think the Skype does not block the root. The new firmware blocked it.

You mean - the root works? You have ftp/telnet etc with the newer 1118 firmware?

Both are always OK but no root after that

Hi. i have a F5300 and after skype update, i lost root access!!! Put data folder on USB stick and run samygo. I tried but step 1,2 always "NO"!! Delete the samygo widget. Re - install it. And after that put usb with data. And advise if root is back . Most probably F5000 series are affecte...
