Re: Readahead for HD Video Playback CIFS/NFS/FTP over Wi-Fi

Thank's!
Well, I'm gonna get N anyway.
However, it sounds very interesting what you are doing. I just hope, it won't be to hard to get it run for amateurs like me.

Re: Prebuffering for HD Video Playback CIFS/NFS/FTP over Wi-Fi

Hey guys, I'm not getting it, why a N dongle would work. As arris69 stated cifs as a 25 MBit limitations respectivly a 12 MBit limiations when using Wifi. When using the readahead feature you are basciscally reducing the data rate peaks. On the other hands this means that the average Bitrate can nev...

Re: Samba server slow - laggy video in high bit rate scenes

Don't worry, I wouldn't wanna argue with you. I was just confused that this issue was stated as a Samba problem. But indeed it's just the linux samba client that seems to be crappy.
Anyway, has someone had at least some improvements with the mount parameters posted by arris?

According to this thread http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=267 upgrading to N wouldn't improve the situation.

Re: Samba server slow - laggy video in high bit rate scenes

If you use LAN cable it works pretty fine. Mainly because Samba could achive it's highest bandwidth which is 25mbps. On the other hand you have WLAN which is only half-duplex (LAN is full-duplex) so you have only 12mbps, and that's the main problem. So the question is, how we can optmize/hack/confi...

Re: VideoAR Fix - Display Size

Thx for the patcher 0.20. Now, ARFix v1 is integrated in my B679 Firmware. Is there any way to have v2 with its additional modes included?

Hi,

today I tried a dvb-c source --> Same problem.
Do you really think that the Tuner might be screwed up?
