Postby flex26 » Mon Jan 03, 2011 11:02 pm

Hi
Is there a way how to connect headphones to this tv and listen sound when I play music or movie from meda play (usb stick, lan etc.)?
First when I noticed that this model haven´t standard analog audio out I bought scart -> analog RCA cabel but when I use this I can hear sound only when I play TV programs but nothing when I play MP3 or some Movie from usb or when I play xbox......this TV already have optical audio out but cheapest decoder/ converter to analog what I find is for 50$ and its quite a lot.....I don´t need some great quality of sound I only need it at night to not bother anyone else
thnx for advise

I use infrared Headphones with the base connected to the audio out jacks on the UN55B8000, I believe the 7000 has the same connections. With this setup I can listen with the TV volume all the way down. All TV audio is heard including MP3's, UPNP, etc We use several headphones to allow several listeners at a time (in case we have guests and do not wish to disturb them). Works great! Amazon has several IR headsets available for less than $50US, and if you use a transmitter from a Car Setup they are even less.

Hope that helps!
