look at the page HTML source - everything else is commented and commented things are not accessible :(
maybe they returned to the "mail asking" policy as described in "Open Source License Notice"
anyway SamyGO community already has a lot of sources and can add them to sourceforge file repository - no one can complain about open source things in SamyGO file repository

Darn, I just deleted that file few weeks ago. But I think I might have parts of it extracted, but I'm not sure. The following I have:

Code: Select all

389343 Jul 7 2008 libusb-0.1.12.tar.gz
5286781 Jul 9 2008 libgphoto2-2.3.1.tar.zip
98072793 May 8 2009 SELP.3.2.x-Chelsea.src.tgz
1415364 May 8 2009 SDL-1.2.11.zip
65335175 May 9 2009 linux.chelsea.tgz
The interesting part is that they now openly deny using v3 of GPL/LGPL, but the written manual that came with the TV has v3, and isn't it so that the v3 does not allow propietary linkage at all? I think this was already discussed somewhere? But could Samsung be sued to release the exeDSP et.al. codes according to the v3 from the manual :)

Here came the answer:
[SAMSUNG OSRC COMMENTS DELIVERY NOTIFICATION]
Dear Taras,

First of all, thanks for your continuous interest in our products.
Your requesting model LE40B650T2P uses open source softwares including GPL/ LGPL/others.
As you know, open source distribution site (http://www.samsung.com/global/opensource/) is temporarily stored for a small size of source code model.
We have served this downloadable site until 10th May, but download transmission failure case occasionally happened for the mass storage files.
So we decide to provide source code on CD-ROM for a customer charge covering the cost of performing distribution,
such as the cost of media, shipping and handkling as stated in license notice.

Plesase reply for us with your accurate receiving address.
Within 2 days from your reply, we will post CD-ROM then let you know directly.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about open source license.
Kindly Regards,

Samsung has a problem with the Internet channel? Bullshit!
I propose to create a repository similar http://www.samsung.com/global/opensouce at sourceforge or other open platform.
I not recommend put that files here on download page, that files are not ours, should not be here direclty, but put on some other site.

I thought on subject and decided to HELP Samsung to distribute their contents.
If they cannot afford this sources distribution, than we could offer them for FREE.
If they don't want to give a permit on it, that means they gonna make money by selling those codes (in the name of shipping/handling... etc) or trying to close their sources which is illegal thing. So they cannot sue us afterwards. win-win scenario for every one :)
