I changed the essential settings in the service menu like:
-Info link server type: developing
-Info link country: Netherlands
-Installed Youtube, Picasa, US-today
All went well, only errors when I added other IP's and trying to download widgets as "develop" login:
-network or server problem, try later
-freeze when trying to download
After that I tried to install MSN news from the widget list, A DISASTER:
-all the apps seemed to be downloading.
-return button: a glimp of my installed widgets, no more internet@tv.
After that I could not enter internet@tv anymore
I went back to operating mode and was able toinstall the Yahoo widgets.
Returning to developing mode gave the same problem of not being able to enter internet@tv; connecting and than it stops
Whihout lan I can enter settings but I can not make an account to add or delete widgets.
What to do???
I have a LE40B652(T4PXZG) with CI+.

@samybill
Read warning from this Wiki - http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/How_to ... of_widgets
Then if you start Internet@TV (also offline) you need login as develop and after open settings widget you will be able to remove 'user' widgets.
PS: It's only for Internet@TV - non Yahoo widget engine!

Re: Install Apps on Pre-2010 TVs?
Thank you
I tried to enter internet this way. When I finely succeeded I made the "develop" login and tried to delete the widgets: "widget deleted"
But nothing is changed.
I would like to uninstall this MSN widget because:
-it is constantly loading
-gives an error when trying to open
-youtube and picasa also seem to be loading, but they do function
-and most desturbing I can not open internet@tv the normal way
Is this familiar to someone and what is the solution to fix it?
question: When I update my firmware or downgrade ffb, will internet tv also be reset?

Icey wrote: I have a UN46B8000 and the only option for Ireland, Russia, etc. is in Yahoo Widget settings, but that doesn't give me the option to enter an IP address or syncronize widgets. In developer settings it only shows a 4 digit code and the option to show my widgets (on/off).
No option for Ireland, Russia, etc. in Plug&Play setting, nor in the Service Menu settings.
Any advice ?
I have a LN52B750, and facing a similar challenge as Icey, i.e. Ireland is not an option in the service menu (control->sub option->infolink country), and instead my choices are America, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Canada, Chile (non of these seem to work, btw). Also, plug&play is greyed out and thus unusable. I would really like to get the Widget hack running to downgrade my firmware, as that's my only option. Please let me know if there's a solution. Thanks!juuso wrote:We have solution for you. Please stay tuned, I inform you over PM

Yes, after change firmware you will reset your TV settings and clear widgets. This same state you can make using option in TV - after turn on press for ~10sec Exit button on remote.samybill wrote:question: When I update my firmware or downgrade ffb, will internet tv also be reset?
For downgrade firmware read http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f= ... rt=0#p9080.cod9hawk wrote:I have a UN46B8000...

Re: Install Apps on Pre-2010 TVs?
But,
When I after that used ffd to go back to a preFeb Firmware 2006.0.> internet@tv warned there was a network problem.
Testing the network result: ok
Service menu change: operating> Yahoo widgets were loading normal
Service menu change: developing> Yahoo widgets were loading!!! and no Samsung(developing) widgets.
What is the problem here and how can I get working Samsung(developing) Widgets again.
I have a LE40B652(T4PXZG) with CI+.
edit: went back to development first. This worked
