Any idea? Tried factory reset, unplugged from supply, nothing helped.

sticks are function in PC, also supply from tv USb ports are function becasue sticks are blinking..

thx for any help..

Do you know the exact model and the exact firmware used ?
Seems that if you try to use a LE firmware on a LN model can cause issues like this.

Just the normal downgrading and changing model like described here :
http://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/samyg ... t=10#p8837

But instead to change the model from C650 to C750 you change C650 to C6800.

I finally got my Nokia CA42 cable today and built the Exlink cable (just for checking what I do) and did the same with my LE40C650

I can confirm that changing the model from C650 to C6800 DOES enable PVR and DOES NOT decrease the image quality.

nope, those two models were LE, problem was the filesystem of USB stick and somethingwent wrong.
second case, the guy had another usb device connected to TV, USB stick was mapped as sdb1 not sda1.

both cases are solved now, they are continueing in hack.. :)

Yes, I can confirm that the internal subwoofer doesn't work after changing to C6800.
I didn't notice at first, because I use an external sound system.

Do you found a solution ?

Re: Enabling PVR-function for xxC65x?- via shell

Postby gipas » Sun Nov 28, 2010 9:53 am

Is there a way to enable recording via shell (C-series)? like- write transport stream of actual TV program by typing some command to shell? If yes- it may be combined with http server on TV (starts nicely from busybox via run.sh for me) and can be used to trigger recording via remote http interface (topic for brainstorming section :P ).
yet another linux device, samsung c6500. with telnet and PVR :) Lokalizacija žaliems manorc.lt

Hey,

I would like to downgrade my C6710 because of enabling the PVR-functionn...
I read the HowTo post of supamicha (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1004&start=10#p8837)....
But I've got only Version.0 file exisiting in my mtd_rwarea..
Content of the file is:
SWU_T-VALDEUC_002002_I04_EK000DK000KK000RK000_100910
Which is correct because the TV hast got 2002 installed...
Do I have to modify the Version.0 file or do I have to create the Version.1 file and put a lower Version content to it?

regards
Philipp
