The classic message "weak or no singal" for 1-2 seconds that 3014.1 has at mpeg4 digital channels it appears to that version to.

ONLY WITH 3011 it DOESN'T do that at all.

today, I have tested the firmware with 3d clips and surprised to see that some *.mp4 clips which had no problems with the previous firmwares do not play on my c8790 anymore. only sound, no video, no error message
for mkv and avi, no problem

Yes,
I can confirm 3014, and 3015 (haven't tried 3011 yet) do not play my MKV HD 3D file. Rolled back to 3005 and the file plays fine.

Video details that are not playable: MKV container, Codec: AVC / 23,976 fps / 1920?1080p / 9731 Kbps (3D Top Under)

PS: checked 3011 firmware. still works with that type of video, so the problem is only with 3014 and 3015!!!

yep, I also downgraded the firmware to 3011 and mp4 problem looks solved. What is funny is, when a new firmware is released, we normally expect it to be better and we also hope that it fixes some annoying bugs but this is not how it works lol. Every new fw means new problems and more restrictions. Strange policy.

Hello Guys,

I have two questions:

1: I have a C650 with old 3005 FW and activated PVR (via hotel mode trick). Now I'm planning to upgrade the TV to the latest 3015 FW. After the update the PVR will activated?

2: Is this C650 type able to play 3D video files with (passive) cinema 3d glasses? (like in case of LG types) If so, with what FW version?

Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Chris

Why do you have to go with 3015?
1. PVR works. You can easy go back to 3005 by installing firmware 0000 and then 3005.
2. C650 is not 3D TV. You can watch 3D only with anaglyph glasses if you have media recorded.
