What if you check shares after 3-5 mins from TV start? Maybe it requires more time for mounting?
Are you sure, your share name is Videos?

Do you have ExLink? It helped to identify the problem. Also on the USB you should find rcSGO_out file. Post it here. Thanks.

do you think there is a way to improve the poor embeded media player (no bookmark for media playing via dlna, no fast forward...) via usb extensions on this alternative firm ?
thanks

it is easier to use cifs (samba) shares and get your wanted fast forwarding function on mediaplayer than wait until anyone patches this. Personally i don`t believe if (any) patch come for T-VAL6DEUC soon or maybe this question could be - is here any who develop for T-VAL(6)DEUC?

So, i suggest you to use benefits of existing patched firmware - basically SamyGO Extensions instead of waiting. Sure, your brainstorm is ok, perhaps anyone makes your requested patches. Maybe.

hey juuso iv been away from my c6000 since i got all the extensions to work. (in the middle east now :x) I would really like to start developing in general! but i feel that i should learn some fundamental basics first. right now im working my way through C++ books and all the stuff iv done before makes far more sense now.

Once iv got comfortable with C++ where do you suggest i go from there... what tools are you guys using to dev for samyGO project?? think i rem reading somewhere that you guys are using python scripts and tools for dev firmwares yea???

and genital push in the right direction would be greatly appropriated.

Hi everybody !!!
I'm french, and I have a Samsung TV UE40C6000.
My firmware is T-VAL6DEUC-1017

First I Download this: SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r12-for-T-VALDEUC-20110103184650

I format my USB Key under windows 64bits to FAT32 (I tried in FAT too).
I Copy the archive to my usb root. So it looks like this:
-ROOT
-SamyGO
-bin
-doc
- ...

Then I download this: samygo-trunk.tar.gz and this: samygo-init.d.tar.gz

1) I remove this on my usb key: SamyGO/etc/init.d/01_05_framebuffer.init
2) I replace this 2 files: SamyGO/rcSGO and SamyGO/ect/rc.sysinit by the files
in the archive downloaded before (samygo-trunk.tar.gz)
3) I replace all scripts in SamyGO/etc/init.d/ by the init.d/ in my downloaded
archive (samygo-init.d.tar.gz)

I turn my tv off, I insert my usb fat32 Key in the TV, and I turn the TV ON.
I wait, I wait but nothing,
nmap is always the same:
PORT STATE SERVICE
5600/tcp open unknown
52235/tcp open unknown
52396/tcp open unknown

On my usb key no logfile output !!!
I think that my TV doesn't want to read/write with my key,
Therefore in HotelMode the "clone tv to USB" works good. (the export channel list
in the TV menu too), so my tv see good my key.

Any any ???

I tried many configuration like:
1) the same operation with all file in SamyGO directly in root like this:
-ROOT
-bin
-doc
- ...

2) try to replace the directory lib by this archive:
SamyGO-All-Modules-v0.03.7-r01-for-armv7a_valencia_DEV-T-VAL6DEUC-20110912071317

Thanks
PS: Sorry for my bad english
