1. Start Tv without ethernet cable connected. Then your i@TV should be accessible. remove this youtube app.
2. Power off to standby. then go to service menu (info-menu-mute-power), navigate to config-sub option-watchdog and set it off.
3. that`s all.

Edit: remove youtubeHD trough ftp/ssh.

OK, even when I deleted the Youtube folders from couple of places the TV was in boot loop, rebooted every 5min.

With Remote I did: Info->Menu->Mute->Power
and from Service menu I chose: Control -> Sub Option -> WatchDog -> Off

This fixed the reboot problem, now i can winscp in and look for the nYouTubeHD3Dv13 - files and remove them.

Thanx juuso for correcting me to right direction !

Installing this fixes the Youtube in my smart tv ? Quaranteed ? ;)
The earlier version that was posted, put my rooted C7705 on mad boot loop.

Btw. what the watchdog does on the TV and when it is off, how does that effect the overall functionality ? Is watchdog -feature wikified? ... should be :geek:

if you look closer you will find - switch watchdog off alsmost everyhere on wiki. It does nothing if switched off. Or does reboot in cases like yours.

Thx juuso, ever patient with even stupid questions, but - why Watchdog exists, why is it On by default? It didnt do reboot prior to nYouTubeHD3D widget install, thats why I am asking. What I saw while SSH'ing the TV remotely was a network script for ack or something that was named something like "init 5 minutes" etc.

I recommend turn off and turn on the TV after install any user widget. Sometimes my TV freeze if I open the user widget before restart the TV.

Yep the TV froze during the widget install, then rebooted and continued to reboot while I was looking for solution :D
But yea, I got the point...
