I have ... succesfully enabled PVR function.
I have inserted Kingston D3 16GB usb stick, and after format i recorded a few shows from dtv.
My question is:
1. What type of file system is on usb stick ?
2. What is operating system in TV. I am sure some distro of linux, but which one?
3. Is there any way to read recorded show from usb to my Pc ( Windows 7 pro ) ? If answer is no >
4. > is there any way to read recored show under virtual box and under VB ( if i install the same linux as in the TV ) ?
2. debian leny for ARM CPU (not 100% sure)
3. No way. It is protected. You do not know RSA key to decode and it is possible you can`t play recorded video on other samsung TV.
4. No, problem isn`t linux distribution. Problem is samsung`s exeDSP - software for operating TV specific functions. It is close source and hard RSA encoded/secured.
