[Solved] Ue46c7700 bricked

Post by dasebi »

Hey,

I've bricked my tv and can not enter the channel menu anymore.
Any idea where eprom on this device is located or do you know the settings i have to enter at the hotel menu to unbrick the tv?

Many thanks.

you`re gave very poor information what did you do to brick TV and what is result. Can be eeprom reset won`t help you...?

Anyway if you`re sure what you`re doing, checkwiki and try closest model (sad, we have just c6200 eeprom location). Btw, if you find right eeprom, pls share with us.
Optional if you didn`t forget to set rs232 to debug in service menu, you could access it trough exlink cable and change options you need.

and, if you are still in hotel or shop mode there is also no channel menu available
//UE40C6500 @ T-VALDEUC 3011 // rooted manual HotelMode style // PVR to NFS via 18MB on-the-fly sparse XFS // >> decommissioned due to tuner death
//UE46F8090 @ T-FXPDEUC 1136 // rooted by new Widget // root starting with empty usb drive
FYI: you can close your ssh session with SamyGO with

Code: Select all

~.
If you can't fix it using dvct tape, you are not using enough dvct tape.

WOW! Thank you so much. I've still been in Hotel Mode. Now the TV is working fine again.
I've entered Hotel Mode: MUTE-1-1-9-ENTER
Changed Hotel Mode to "Off"
and shut off the tv again.

Thanks so much!
