I think this wireless remote control of samsung will be very effective for Smart Communications. It can be very helpful for my iPhone . Thanks for this nice sharing and informing us about it.

Hello all,

thanks for a lot of informations in this thread.

I have some questions. I bought a SAMSUNG Smart PVR some weeks ago. But the promised DUAL VIEW (even this function is noted in the App store and in the help file) is not working as well as the remote schedule functions of recording for my IPAD.

I asked several Samsungs support team members and the answer was, we don't support Apple phones. Why did they build the App? Why didn't mentioned this at the package/box of the product and in the technical description.

But I saw that there is way to talk to the Samsung and this let me hope to solve this issue and to program a app myself and one for the micasverde vera system (or help to improve a existing one). :-)

But unfortunately I have no Samsung phone to use wireshark etc. to find out how it works. :-(

I did some tests with curl and send request to the Samsung (STB E7900). With UPNP inspector I found a lot of functions, but I cannot use because the Samsungs tells me nonsupported device ( I assume the User agent is wrong, but what is the correct one.

is there anyone who can help?

This phones should worl (as Samsung told in a email).

- GT-I9100 Galaxy S 2 (Mit Android ICS)
- YP-G70 Galaxy S 5.0 WiFi

many thanks

Hi,
I've managed to get my Arduino talking IP to my new ES8000 but I wondered if anyone knows the key code for entering the SmartHub??

Thanks,
Dave
