Hello board,

is it possible to put a mainboard from LExxC679 into a LExxC630 ?
Is the powersupply of the C630 capable to handle the C679 board (does it deliver all required voltages and amperage) ?

No problem. To be sure you have just compare connectors. All connectors are identical. Power suply is ok too.

I have the same question. I have bricked TV LE37C530 (mainbaord number BN41-01536A), can i change main board to LExxC650 (BN41-01443A) or I can change only to LE37C550 or 630, but i don't know right p/n

You have got an answer on ixbt.com, but to let all ther users know, i repost it here.

Yes, you can swap your`s C530/550 mainboard to one from c650/679 and become your TV upgraded, but you have to order not only mainboard, but BN96-12723C LVDS Screen Cable (another resource) too (some users said, it is possible to re-make original one from c530/c550, but if you don`t know how, you have to buy this, double-sided connector cable...)

But important thing: you have to rebuild this lvds cable by self (instruction is coming, but not for everyone...). It is not enough just to switch cables.

You have just to swap mainboards. No problems with connectors and so on.

Wait, are we talking about the same TVs? Changing the mainboard on C6000 with one from a C650? Because when I compare the C630 mainboard to the layout on my set, the connector are on completely different sides:

yes, in your case you need m/b from led tv, eg uexxc6800... For example this one (BN94-03656C - with dvb-s2 tuner on board!). I know guy who confirmed he had success by using this board on his c6000.

p.s. sorry i gave example with c650 by mistake meaning about T-VAL6DEUC generally. Sure, you could use c650 mainboard too, but then you have to change backpanel...
Better to find m/b from > c65xx led model (but 6 series only).

You can compare those mainboards and see, here is almost no difference (fits well to old`s m/b place/holes):
UE40C6000 UE32C6500 UE40C6800
Panel size doesn`t matter, all 32-55 inc panels have same T-CON (video) board.

Here is another online store where you can find mainboard to buy from. I also saw few sellers on e-bay who is selling used TV mainboards. It is your choice
