Samsung forced autoupdates and law

Post by szt »

Is there a violation of the law in the Samsung policy regarding forced automatic firmware/software updates and the inability to disable this feature in regular way on TV (without blocking on router etc)?

If this is not completely legal, I would like to know specific laws of countries that are violated by this.

For example, Microsoft had problems with the law due to the forced installation of a new version of Windows.
