Hey all,

Not sure how active this forum still is but worth a shot eh. I'm looking for offline firmware for my SMT-C7140 PVR. Does anyone have a link? I did find a post on this forum to samsung open source site and I downloaded a OpenSource_SMT-C7140.zip but not sure what to do this with this file?

this file has linux source files, not the firmware itself. You can investigate these files if you wish.

According to Samsung support, no offline fw has ever been released for that... thingy!?

In this topic on this site there is link to open source firmware. Is this something that can be applied to the box? It contains a few zip files and a SMT-C7140_kernel.tar.gz.
