I have the same "mac address not valid" on my TV when wired to my router. the 1600 (Samsung) blu-ray player next to it connects fine via the same cable and router input, so i know its not that. The UN55B8000 does connect via the wireless dongle, but i recently moved the router closer to take advantage of the direct connection. I have read elsewhere that the only resolve was to replace the main board, seeing that the Mac ID was never properly assigned to their TV's original board (showed MAC address as all F's). is there another way around this? I really don't want to have it serviced unless no other way is found. can the MAC address be "reset" somehow?

thanks a lot for the link Ghandi. was wondering how to change the mac address on TV for a while now. BitGid, i have big doubts that the only way to reslove was to replace main board as they most likely want to get the money out of you. search for some help elsewhere, i will try to find out some answers and will come back.
