No access to internal HDD

Post by Stefan74Nrw »

So I rooted my BD-E 9805S. I got ftp and Telnet connection.
I can see the USB drive when I start SamyGO PVR Decoder, but
I can´t see my recordings from the internal ......./mtd_wiselink/CONTENTS/

What to do ?

07:57:46: Querying recordings on TV ...

Ahh so the problem is that recordings are on internal storage, you should have told it from the beginning :D
Can't you record on USB? I don't think internal is intended in PVRdecoder (and more generally untested on BD blayers...)

Maybe try to create a symlink to /mtd_wiselink/CONTENTS on (non-FAT) USB:

Code: Select all

ln -s /mtd_wiselink/CONTENTS /dtv/usb/sdb1/CONTENTS
(Replace sdb1 by your USB if needed)

Also no guarantee keydumper works on BD player, worthless in such case...

...
Btw
/dev/sda4 483109912 442496696 40613216 92% /mtd_wiselink
It looks internal is already known as sda4, did you try to simply select that place in PVRdecoder?

Hi zoelechat,

So when I try to make a symlink to that "path" I get this.

I took a look and see that there is no tree sdb1 only sdb, but inside this folder there is no contents ?

Any clue on this?

/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
VDLinux#> ln -s /mtd_wiselink/CONTENTS /dtv/usb/sdb1/CONTENTS
ln: /dtv/usb/sdb1/CONTENTS: No such file or directory
VDLinux#>

For the second attempt I tried to place it in PVRdecoder

is Payloads the right place to to put in /mtd_wiselink ?
Working Path is /mtd_rwcommons or mtd_rwarea ?

So you are right by now that´s the last final problem I´ve :-) before there were much much more when I started this Thread *lol*

Hence "replace sdb1 by your USB", not copy/paste. Won't work on root USB (=FAT), so plug another one and check what's available in /dtv/usb. Just don't use unexisting path :)

You shouldn't touch settings you don't understand. Path to recordings is at much more obvious place: "sdb (0 recordings found)"

Hey now it worked!

I put a second USB Stick in the back. made a symlink to ln: /dtv/usb/sdc1/CONTENTS
Then I put all files for the ts inside the "new" directory! inf mta srf inf ss

then......

18:43:18: Connecting to 192.168.2.20:21 .. Success
18:43:18: Querying recordings on TV ...
18:43:21: Verifying telnet access to 192.168.2.20:1023 .. Success
18:43:21: All recordings on USB listed. Waiting for user.
18:43:33: Dropping DRMDecrypt to work-folder.
18:43:33: Examining DRM status for file ...

Thank you so much for guiding me a way !!!!

Perfect!
