BD-E8X00 JTAG - Security bits ?

Post by oga83 »

It's quite easy to locate the JTAG signals on the BD-E8X00...

The suffix CPLD in the pins names simply points out that the first component to be chained is an Altera 5M40Z (ie Complex Programmable Logic Device).

I'm quite sure that security bits have been activated on the most interesting component (flash),
but before investigating on this I wonder if anybody has already tried ?

Thanks

Jtag is black horse here and we don't have any clue how to use it...
