E series BD players
  • Extract archive and copy cinaviapatch file (not folder) from archive to any directory (/tmp/ for example)
  • Set file permissions

    Code: Select all

    chmod +x /tmp/cinaviapatch
  • Run this:

    Code: Select all

    /tmp/cinaviapatch -d -n exeDSP
  • No more Cinavia :)
Autostart:
  • Extract cinaviapatch file (not folder) from archive to BD player in /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount/opt/privateer/usr/bin
  • Extract 99_99_CinaviaPatch.init from this archive to /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount/etc/init.d
  • Telnet to BD player and set file permissions:

    Code: Select all

    chmod +x /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount/opt/privateer/usr/bin/cinaviapatch
    chmod +x /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount/etc/init.d/99_99_CinaviaPatch.init
  • Reboot BD player.

F series BD players

Until F root is completely fixed I have prepared something that might help F Bluray users.
  • Make a backup of run.sh from SamyGO_data folder on your rooting USB and keep it somewhere.
  • Unpack the contents of cinaviapatchF.zip archive to SamyGO_data.
Archive contains cinaviapatch and new run.sh (to be overwritten) that runs cinaviapatch automatically :)
  • Reboot BD player.
F ROOT IS NOW FINISHED. PLEASE USE BETA FROM HERE:
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=8101&p=63152#p63152
THEN APPLY E PROCEDURE!!!!

WARNING
If you encounter any problem please provide Cinavia.txt from USB!!!!

!
WARNING!!!! DON'T ASK FOR HELP WITHOUT PROVIDING SCREENSHOT OF ROOTING APP LOG!!!!!!!

!
WARNING!!!! DON'T EXPECT CINAVIA PATCH TO BE WORKING CORRECTLY IF YOU EVER UNPLUG ROOTING USB :)!!!!!!

Replace /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount by /mnt in paths and check if they're existing:

Code: Select all

/mnt/opt/privateer/usr/bin
/mnt/etc/init.d

I don't have F device so I didn't try changing default directory (/mnt) :)

Yeah I've just seen that looking at root-F scripts :) . Waiting for feedback before any change in autostart procedure...

copy the 2 files on SamyGO_data folder on USB, make from the begging all the step but after restart not working

What do you mean by "not working" ? :) Telnet stopped working ? Also did the patch work at all for you ? I think after restart (with usb plugged in) you have to run browser to run the hack :)

Good, so the patch works. :D
Okay few infos:
1) no usb = no root + cinavia back
2) After reboot you have to open smart hub and maybe even run browser without this root doesn't start :)
All of this is expected :) it's not a bug :)
