I just purchased one of these yesterday, is it possible to root this player please I have been looking through the forum but cannot seem to find the answer .......Well i just found the answer, even though samsung say this has a smart hub it actually does not so no way of disabling cinavia or rooting for anyone else thinking of purchasing this player.

So how can I solve the cinavia code 3 problem on the Samsung BD-F5700 blue ray player?

Only with rooting and cinaviapatch 
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
