try change connection parameters. (speed from 115200 to 57600 or less), check cable - you are very close. Put log to

Code: Select all

 in future.

I prefer to use putty as terminal client.

You have to get readable words in boot log. Until you get those...unreadable symbols - it means it is not correct and must check cable or speed settings.
It is good already, that you get anything :roll:

Are you sure that the SecureCRT is not trying ssh or some other encrypted connection method? Maybe if you try with program that handles only plain text unsecure connections?
