Samsung D503 doesn't play video from USB

On D503 and D403, you can also change the model to D550...
This will allow you to play video from usb, but it will also unlock network menu and allshare

The only problem is that the TV (i'm referring to d403) does not have ethernet port and i don't know if it would recognize a wifi adapter...
Anyone could try it?

I've tried whit my DWA-111 (original PID/VID) but no luck

Both models will work... try them and choose what you like (even if i think they are perfecty the same).
Anyway, if u can't choose one, i can tell you that i changed it to d550 and everything works ok

Try changing it to D550 instead if D5005 (The precise model into my SM is "LD550").

Anyway,
Did someone triy and manage to make an usb wireless adapter work after changing model

I'd like to use All-share and Smartphone remote control features..

If i change from D503 to D5005 to have the option for USB Video,how to revert back to D503 from D5005?
Is there any possibility to damage my TV with this change?
Do i loose anything with this change?

Take photos of every page of the Service Menu before changing anything.
Then try to set the model you want.
If some values is changed or is not correct, you can adjust them, looking at the pictures you made.
