I have read somewhere about files recorded on D series TV:
Metadata are in the *.inf files.
Thumbnails are in the *.mta files. (base64 coded jpegs)
Keys are in the *.mdb files.
Videos are in the *.srt files.
I am wondering where are subtitles stored? - mdb file maybe. Other files except srt. file are to small to store subtitles.
Subtitles file?
Re: Subtitles file?
Videos are stored in *.srF not *.srT The same place is for audio and subtitles on all platformsKvedr wrote:I have read somewhere about files recorded on D series TV:

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

That's right .srf not .srt. Sory for the typo.
Are subtitles pictures as on DVDs, binary or text files as in MKV container? How to extract them from decrypted .srf file?
Apologies for my poor knowledge.
Re: Subtitles file?
The subtitles are in text format even in encrypted files:) you can try dumping them using mplayer. Maybe it will work;)
