How to remove the Hospitality mode hack?

Post by tchleb »

Hi,

i have a D6500 with 1026.0 FW, bevor i had on a older FW succesfull installed the Hospitality mode hack.
But now i want to remove the Hospitaly Hack, i tried in Service Menue a Factory Reset.
However the Samygo VirtualUSB is still there, how can i delete this complete from my TV.
I no longer need samygo now.

Connect via ftp and delete /mtd_rwarea/start.sh and SamyGO.sh files. Then remove samygo widget. Thats all.

Hello Juusso,

does the above still apply? It wont brick the TV, right?
If I want to keep the samygo but remove the hospitality (auto-start). Could I keep the samygo widget or should I remove it and then re-install it from your develop server?

Thank you very much for all your work
