Ue46D5700 on-off problem Mainboard compatibility

Post by sixQu »

Hello, I have a 5year old Samung D5700 with 46" and the bootloop problem. So it goes on and off every 5-6second. No clicking or anything. The capacitors look fine and when i unplug the mainboard, the tv LED-Backlights stay on. I already tried an eeprom-reset without success. So I decided to change the mainboard but the problem is, I can't find one.
In my TV the BN61-07083C is build in. So my question is, can I use a Mainboard of an other samsung series and does the displaysize matter?

-Sorry for the english-mistakes

Thanks in advance

if you chose mainboard of any UExxD55xx-57xx (not plasma!), then screen size does not matter, chose any from 32-55`
But not from different series (eg. D6xxx or any other)

Keep in mind, do not buy mainboard aimed for US market (UNxxD5xxx), you will get ntsc tuner which is useless in EU.. :)

Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately this http://www.ebay.de/itm/Mainboard-Signal ... SwA3dYb8Xd is the only one I can find. It's an D5000 and no D5500.
The Mainboard is the same as mine, but with an A instead of the C at the end - so this doesn't work?
I know you said, 55xx-57xx but there is nothing on the internet so this is the only chance i see
