Unblock PVR on UAE Model UA60D8000

We purchased our UA60D8000 in the UAE and they have blocked the PVR function, nor does Samsung sell any type of DVR device to record live TV in the UAE. So we can't even buy another device to record TV, and most other brands have phased this out too. Our old HDD is not compatible. I do not know if this is a hardware function or an app? (I am not very technical). Is there a way of unlocking the PVR function? PLEASE HELP! Soo frustrated.... thanks.
