Yes, this greyed out PVR menu is on or off ? It is possible to change those menus using ExLink cable.

Samsung TV models for Brazil traditionally tend to be a little different (hardware/firmware). I bet Brazilian D7000's have their own firmware version, at least.
However, South Korean & US models look pretty much identical on that level ( and - unless I'm very much mistaken - Korean models have PVR/timeshift enabled).
There are quite notable differences between European (T-GAPDEUC) and North American/Korean (T-GAPAKUC) firmware branches; exeDSP in EU firmwares is nearly 50% longer..
But, PVR-related code is definitely incorporated in T-GAPAKUC firmware, too. So, it looks like PVR enabling for US models is only a matter of proper settings. Keep trying.

Yes, I have gotten pvr enabled by setting my US model to KOR in the service menu but I set it back because I lose the day/night calibration settings which are more important to me. Beware if you do this that normal access to the service mode is also disabled if you need to go back to US you must use hotel mode and the factory remote emulator (rusamsungtvcommunicator) or the TDM
