This needed to be patched. Also mediaplayer scans headers for all files, because of that navigation through network shares become slow...

there's still another issuese preventing recording to nfs shares:
created an nfs share that only contains a CONTENTS folder and in it I have a files called .PVRPfmChkLog that contains "1" as content. I created it with echo '1' > .PVRPfmChkLog

NFS is now mounted in the root of the virtual usb device nevertheless when pressing the red recording button my tv asks me to format the device.

looks like you did not update game.so ?

in updated version PfmChkLog is not anymore need by PVR recorder also it is not need to format device to XFS file system.

I have deleted the database file and the tv simply made a rebuild. Then I have enabled the NFS in init.d, deleted db again, and much more folders got accessible. After searching a while it said that I have too many files, hidden files could be possible or sg.

Now I have deleted db again, disabled samba, upnp and everything which could write to this db and started again just with nfs enabled. It works! Everything is accessible, even the 25GB mkv in a 7th level subfolder.

It looks that the size of this db couldn't be too much. Or the records in it?

It doesn't matter wether I have nfs or samba or both enabled (and djmount disabled of course), I just can't see any files in any subfolder nor can I dig deeper than one subfolder, deleting content files doesn't help at all.

The only difference I noticed was that the Ace.dat file gets to about only 600kB large with nfs enabled, but close to 10MB with samba enabled

... I guess this problem is also the reason why I can't play recorded files via TV-Aufzeichnung / Recording App
I can record via nfs and see the files, I just can't play them.


Let's hope for a fix in the next game.so
