Hello, I just buy a MD40B TV (LH40MEBPLGC/EN)
And i can't figure out which series i am !! The wiki is not very insightful about this model.
I went into service menu and noticed my specs are T-GAPDEU-0001 kernel or firmware (please have a look at the attached pic)
Could someone give me a hand to get started hacking (like applying samygo firmware?) this device

This is D series model (it has codename Genoa.P). Just only i havent seen this model before...

If here is smarthub, you can try install SamyGO trough develop account. I can`t advice anything because of vncm here isn`t any working example neither on b, c, d nor e series.

doesn't notice smarthub application here, i have allshare and magic lite i guess those seem completely useless for rooting the device ?

o i still don't know which particular series i am (D6500,D6900,or D7000 or ??) i need to know since its a smartless TV, thingsare bad to apply Samygo.
I guess i have to stick to the risky Firmware Downgrade using firmware update via internet and Samygo DNS 149.154.159.134, i have a rs232 usb ttl 3.3V wire, is that helpful if things go bad (i really don' t want to brick the TV)

Can i reliably go with : T-GAPDEUC 1015 since the TV D-Series Firmware Downgrade page (SamyGO Proof of Concept)assume this firmware succeds to downgrade.
I am not 100% sure my firm is T-GAPDEUC as long it has T-GAPLBDWWC-1008.4 and T-GENLAUSS2-1009 in it

Your firmware is T-GAPLBDWWC, have no idea where to download it from, except maybe samsung support page for your model. But... i cant find firmware downloads there:
