Lovefilm App

Hi !
For Samsung E-Series Lovefilm (Amazon) has developed an App to stream movies from Lovefilm (VOD).

After contacting lovefilm why the did not make it for D-Series, too they told me that the technical features of D-series are not compatible for the app.

I doubt that.

Could anyone check if the E-Series App can be modified to install it in D-Series TV ?

Unfort. I can not find the app - it seems it is only visible if you have an E-Series TV with Smarthub....

I asked lovefilm Germany. Answer - unclear if the app will be adopted for D series.

For UK a lovefilm app is already available and also running on the german samsung. The only problem is that my german account is jot valid with this app.

I asked lovefilm before but they sai "no for previous E-SEries"....don`t know the reason why they are so silly not to make an app for previous Smart-TVs....
They said it is "unclear" ? They told me "because ob technical requirements it is not possible for Pre E-Series"....perhaps they have a contract with samsung to force customers to buy a new TV...;-(((

Below the org feedback from lovefilm. No available information when the app will be available for the D series. Therefore It would be great if a migration from the newer TV would be possible.

I tried to stream a film via Web-Browser in Smarthub - the same trouble - does not work....D-SEries have Smarthub and all streaming technics available....if it will takte the same long time to make other Series available like it took to give that app for german users (in england it was available a long time before !!).....we will have to wait YEARS !!!
