Switching TV off & on aftert upgrading software- UA40D5500

I have a Samsung LED TV -- UA40D5500. Today I have upgraded the FW version to T-MST5DAAC-1016.1. However after doing this the TV started switching off and on on it's own. Which was not happening with previously version of FW. I tried with usb upgrade with VERSION 1016 & 1023 but it is not accepting. I have done the factory reset but still problem is their. Pl help me to resolve the issue.

I have exactly the same problem, tried default factory settings, leaving the system unplugged, , contacted Samsung support - no luck.
Tried the dns setting to load other firmware but nothing found.

Anyone have a solution?

I am also facing same problem of TV getting switched off and on after upgrade to firmware version 1016.1. Samsung helpdesk asked me to do factory reset but no luck.

Any other fixes available?

The TV is switching with interval of 5 minutes in this duration it is not possible to install samygo widgets it goes to approximately 80% installation then it swith off & on. Is their any other solution to downgrade the firmware.

Maybe try to disable watchdog in service menu?

Watchdog stops the rebooting, the picture just freezes though (at the same interval as tge rebooting) - tv and remote are unresponsive.
