I am not sure if it is even possible to control it over usb.
"A 3D shutter glasses device, coupled via a wireless link to a 3D video display device, maintains a slave clock synchronized with a master clock in the display device. The clocks may comprise Bluetooth clocks."

"The shutter glasses receive 3D frame display information and time information referenced to the master clock that corresponds to when frames are displayed. The shutter glasses control opening and closing of left and right shutters utilizing slave clock time and the received information."

"The shutter glasses and the display maintain synchronization when display and/or time information updates are skipped."

So the master sends just some timestamped commands to the classes.

Buy the TI CC2540 dongle (digikey, Farnell etc. sell them) and install the BLE sniffer (free from TI) and look it yourself.

Do you have some (text?) file with the packets sent from TV to the glasses, that you can send to me?

I wish to make some tests, have the glasses, but don't have the TV!!

Nice thread! Any news?
I think we should be able to use this BT for other things...
I posted a list of 3D glasses HERE.

The CC2540 modules are $15 at ebay. But I don't think if this works.

For $30, I think it's better to buy as a CC2450 dongle

If anyone comes with a hack that allows us to use this glasses with USB BT4 Dongles it's great and I will pay $100 as I declared before.

i think its shown that it would never be possible to use an ordinary usb-bt4 dongle as even samsung needed one with extra l-r-sync input lines
so even the glasses would be controllble via cheap dongles i doubt that we'll get acceptable syncing...

FYI: you can close your ssh session with SamyGO with

Code: Select all

If you can't fix it using dvct tape, you are not using enough dvct tape.
