Running Youtube app in bg

Post by nixola » Fri Dec 21, 2012 10:23 am

Hi to all, i was wondering is there a way to run youtube app in the background?
The purpose of this is to simply send a youtube video from android app to tv with no need to start the app manually.
Is this even possible?
What do u think?
Thanks ;)

you can pass an url to tv to play a video from network (http) via upnp message (search for SOAP in forum)

F series has this functionality, it uses DIAL. Works with YouTube and Netflix apps.
