Try to trim it down to see at which point the mapping stops to work 100% of the time and revert to the next higher value.
I think i am using something like 3-4 seconds then sleep 1 second before i map the next one I - have 4 usb mappings to different directories and I have no popup anymore since i shortened.
I have one mapping for movies, one for Mp3:s and one for recording TV (PVR functionality) and a fourth mapping for photo albums. I switch which one I am using with the red button on the remote control.
In some other scenario it might make more sense to have one mapping for Horror, one for Action, one for Drama movies etc.
In my particular case I am using NFS/Unix mapping (not Samba/CIFS/Windows mapping) because my NAS is Linux-based and i figured a native drive mapping would run smoother.
