UA32B6000 Optical Port not working

Hi
Since applying the latest firmware my optical port has stopped working.
The current version is 2010/01/26_002009
When I go into service menu the first 3 lines are
T-CHELEU-1017
T-CHL5DEUC-2009.0
T-CHL5DAUS-2007
When I go into the config menu The Num of Optical Link is 0 (and I can't change it)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No unfortunately not...I feel as though I have tried everything.
Am I missing something simple?

USB is working, right?
Don`t do any further firmware upgrades! (eg to t-chl5deuc-2010)
Then you can do channel import/export as suggested here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1190#p10363
1.1. TV is OFF. Attach prepared USB to it and power on TV
1.2. Activate ??hannel Import/Export? menu.
1.3. Select ?USB to TV? and press Enter twice.
1.4. After you get ?Completed successfully...? press exit. If you press Enter here, TV reboots, its ok, go to 1.5.
1.5. Go to Firmware upgrade menu and activate alternative firmware. TV reboots in to alternative, T-CHL5DEUC-2009_Step1 firmware. Do not worry, in Firmware upgrade menu isn`t any alternative firmware again. It is normal.
Take
required files from step1 and in your case when you go to 1.5 you have to choose Alternative firmware. This should be your T-CHL5DAUC you upgraded from.
T-CHL5DEUC-?hannelImport.rar - Image of USB with symlinks on it to activate Alternative Firmware by importing Channel settings. It was made with Acronis True Image Home 2009 - this program you can use under windows to make USB disk. After you restore image, you find one whole ext3 partition on it (not visible under Windows!)

wow I'm really struggling here...
I downloaded the files...installed Acronis True Image Home and restored T-CHL5DEUC-?hannelImport.rar to a USB drive.
When I try the first step 1.1. TV is OFF. Attach prepared USB to it and power on TV
my TV just turns on...
Any ideas?

atach usb and power off tv
then power it on

still nothing...TV just powers on to normal watching mode and I don't see an Activate ??hannel Import/Export? menu.
Also my USB drive seem to be partitioned and I can't access or format part of the drive.
I think I may need to give up.

If here is no ?hannel Import/Export menu on your TV, then apologies, no way to help you.
You could try is here any answer trough ExLink, if you get console, then maybe you get chance.
