Morning all!
I was given a Samsung telly this Morning by my folks that seems to have gone boobs up.
The TV Switches on, but then decides to display what looks like a corrupted UI on screen with Static in the background
Once the TV is on, it doesn't seem to respond to any remote control inputs (or the front panel), But can be put into standby.
I've tried forcing it to update the firmware VIA USB, but that doesn't seem to work either.
I left it on for half an hour then tested the voltages coming from the PSU, and they seemed to be within Range.
I suspect its the Digital board that's gone poof, but i cant seem to find any components on the Mainboard that have released the magic smoke.
If i hold a remote button down while its booting, the corrupted UI isn't displayed.
Is it possible if i can get a second opinion please??
Thanks in advance!

Just a follow up, It was indeed the mainboard that was toasted, and replacing it fixed the problem.
