Remote Support with samygo

Hi all,

out of the sudden (after a lightning strike in the neighbourhood) my signal strength of some HD stations is really bad. It occurs that I got a lot of picture errors and we can't look the broadcast properly. We don't have the problems on other receiver.
The signal strength is shown with 14-17, the quality is 100 and errors are none.
I think about some remote support from Samsung to check if the motherboard got a defect but need to know first if anybody else called the Samsung support with remote access and a running samygo root. I think they will suggest a firmware update. What we never want to do.
Will they discover the root?

Another question is, can a samygo service be the reason for a bad signal strength?

Any idea would be highly appreciated.
