Expanding advanced hidden menu in service menu

Post by idm1 » Thu Sep 11, 2014 11:13 am

With ps51e6500 in service menu on advanced options, preessing o o o o brings up the following messages in the serial consol from ex link. I was just thinking if it's possible to inject code or in tdm to enable hidden factory flag to 1.

Code: Select all

Why do you want to inject code? It's just needed to hit 0000 to unlock some "advanced" options or FACTORY+3SPEED to unlock "extended" service menu (using one of the IR methods from wiki).
More, if debug shows hidden=0 just when you press 0000, it surely means it's precisely not hidden anymore (as generally means hidden=0=false :) )
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

Sorry I am not that familiar with the terms used. Using 0000 does expand advanced menu with 2d and 3d options greyed out. Using factory and 3 speed codes that have been programmed to a universal remote and working when info factory, factory 3 speed, does espand the sm in options and then also get config, does not affect advanced. Any ideas?
