WARNING - SMART HUB UPDATE - ROOT LOST

Yesterday I was watching TV as usual with my ES8000 and suddenly the Skype started.
I said ... strange, skype is patched and should not work...
After reboot no root anymore.

I have tried a restore but it does not work.

I am with SW version 2009 and no updat has been upplied ... OTN Support is OFF.

Am I alone ?

Install_Samygo_E cannot be installed nor via USB (does not appear in Smarthub) nor from debelop account (after loading is gives an error of security pointing to a samsung forum).

OTN means no firmware update right?(I may be wrong, but i think that is it)
Probably your skype got updated, as there was a major update sometime ago to allow people using live account to login the tv skype.

I also again lost root yesterday after an unwanted smarthub update. Skype itself was not updated but half-scratched as usual (mostly moip/engines folder empty) and I had to uninstall/reinstall it (consequently to latest version from 10/07/2014) to recover root. No problem to do so, and I believe miazza's problem is solved as well now.

ps: Right, OTN support OFF means no fw update Over-The-Net (still possible through USB though)

Yes, I solved even if i do not know how but root is back with SW 2003.
With OTN OFF in the menu is not anymore available even the option to update via internet.
Please pay attention that after FW downgrade to 0000, OTN was restored to ON.

I confirm FW upgrade/downgrade can be done via USB.
