A new PVR+ release in 2019! Amazing! ...
...you have fixed snapshots for 800x600 VGA source video mode. Do you think the same could be done for 720x480p over component?...
My TV-set is still working. After replacing remote control is even better then any new one. So I am still using PVR+ and I am suprised some people are using it as well.
You forced me to connect an old satellite dish tuner with component output to check this.
Please check new version then (...but don't expect any further daily updates

).

Hi Geo650
Mine is still the living's room king. No 3D or 4k TV has tempted me enough as to buy a new one. The image quality is fascinating and I have been customizing it to my taste with several homebrews through the years. I bought a second original remote too even though the one that came with the TV is still fine because I don't trust my kids

The only flaw It has is the internet@tv thing, but now I have attached a chromecast and a fire TV stick and with those I fill the gap with newer smart tvs

I still use PVRPlus due to be a powerful multi task app. It let me set the TV as I want it to be (key remote shortcuts, auto shutdown, subtitles outliner, snapshots, ...). It's one of the few apps that I autoexecute at boot, along samygo extensions, samygodca, seekpatch and remote control (the latter to be able to control the TV from Samygo remote app for Android).

I am sorry if I caused you trouble. I just tested the new version and the results are kinda weird. Sometimes it seems to capture the on screen colors, others... well, no. I attach a couple of examples.

OK, let's check it again. I'd like to ask you to provide 2 more things:
- scaler #1 info from extra info's 3rd page (MENU, INFO, >, >) (...for example: 720x576 50p GAME YUV 4:4:4)
- what is displayed after pressing INFO button (resolution @ fps...)
The problem seems to be chroma (CrCb) channel related. It is probably encoded in different ways / modes on different equipment. I don't know Nintendo Wii console - can you check if there is any video setup option to try other modes or provide more information? I will try to compare results with my device and produce some conclusions. The strangest thing I can see on your snapshots is that color information probably comes from completely different screen (?!)
Last question: do snapshots work well with other sources like DTV or HDMI (1280x720p if possible)?
And don't worry, we are gonna to fix it. I hope.
EDIT: Meanwhile, I did found a bug in the screen capturing function for 1280*xxx resolution on HDMI and VGA inputs. Now I need the scaler information for Wii component source as mentioned above.

Hi Geo650,
Here you have the requested info:

720x480 60p GAME YUV 4:4:4

720x480 @ 60HZ

There is 720x480i 60HZ and 720x576i 50HZ. I took several snapshots in those modes and they are also wrong but... with color!

Yeah, it's like the color info comes from a different frame or something. I can see some color that belong to the Wii system menu screen instead of the real picture being taken.

I don't currently have a DTV or HDMI source with that resolution but I could try to borrow my wife's laptop hehehe. The snapshots taken from 576i or 1080i DTV and 1080p HDMI sources are OK.

I don't doubt that
