This is the question i haven`t solved. I just tried several times without success. Theoretically you have to enable local playlist in xupnpd.lua, but practically here is needed smth more.

Code: Select all

-- playlist (m3u file path or path with alias
playlist=
{
    { './playlists/mozhay.m3u',             'Mozhay.tv' },
    { './localmedia', 'Local Media Files', '127.0.0.1;192.168.1.1' }
}
I think you have to create the dir named localmedia and mount your shares there (or make some symlinks?). Dunno. Haven`t checked deeper, because i think the best way is to use NFS exports.

From example file (in playlists direcotry) you can see, you have to write links to your files (or write some script)

Code: Select all

file://./localmedia/test.mpeg
check http://xupnpd.org for playslist examples and other related info.

No worries, I realized that I can run togeter xupnpd and minidlna togeter in the same server, and TV detects 2 dlna sources, so better.

xupnpd is great... I think maybe to integrate it with some media player that transcodes and create the complete solution to stream any video or iptv via dlna (wait, should not dlna do this by default?). :geek:

By the way... I'd love to find a playlist with channels from poland (polska)

New version available.

Updated archive:
xupnpd-rc8_full_arm.tar.gz

Code: Select all

tar xvzf ...
EDIT: bug found. for correct usage you have to change all subdirectory permissions to 777 and edit xupnpd.lua file:

Code: Select all

cfg.tmp_path='/dtv/'
cfg.pid_file='/dtv/'..cfg.log_ident..'pid'
Binary only:
xupnpd-RC8_arm.gz
(You should renew other files to get full xupnpd up to date.)

Code: Select all

http://tsdemuxer.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/xupnpd
c74k wrote: how to add to autorun ??

edit your SamyGO.sh and add next row at the end:

Code: Select all

/mtd_rwarea/xupnpd-rc/xupnpd-arm
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

xupnpd play list:

Code: Select all

#EXTM3U name="Test"

#EXTINF:0 type=mp4, Test video
http://cdn-cache5g.seznam.cz/disc1/76/58/1777658-cVkcJj.mp4
- On PC and Windows Media Player this working.
- TV show alert "unsupported file format".
- I try dlna_extras parameters (mp4_avc_sd_mp3, mp4_avc_sd_ac3, mp4_avc_hd_ac3, mp4_avc_sd_aac), but no help.
- If i download this file, copy to my DLNA server (on PC) - TV play video without problems.
- If copy this file to USB stick - TV play video without problems.

Any idea how to set correct file format in xupnpd playlist or other actions?
Thank you

PS: Sorry for my bad english.

Nice looking ushare. Does it do like iptv playlist files like xupnpd? Does it also support normal video files? I'd be great if it also can play subtitles via dlna.

Still I could not hack my tv so I can't use samba or nfs.

Sorry to resurect an old thread.

I found today that xupnpd-rc9 supports adding the length parameter into m3u playlists.
I have the B653T5 model and I was hoping that this length parameter will allow duration display and pause/skipping for the streamed videos, but it does not.
Any ideea on how to enable these features from xupnpd on the B series? What headers might be needed?

Thanks!

Help needed:

TV: LE32B65* cl
Firmware: 2005
arm 6

Got FTP and Telnet running with no problem, got Dnla running with no problem. Everything done letter by letter by this manual: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/How_watch_IPTV.

Problem: cannot load m3u file through web browser admin.

What have i done:
Installed everything by manual in wiki
Tried to add m3u - Failed
Added m3u into playlist folder by ftp - reload in web browser admin - Failed
Try to play included play lists - format not supported - ok i dont want them anyway
Delete included playlists by FTP in playlist folder on TV
Reload in web browser - no more playlists in Dlna
Upload own m3u playlist to TV playlist folder by FTP, reload - nothing in Dlna on TV

/mebrainworking

ok next:
Maybe deleting playlist files messed it up?
Reload full folder on TV by FTP including the playlist folder
Give rights by telnet for file access according to wiki
Launch app by telnet
Dlna is back on TV - no playlists (neither mine nor the ones i put back in FTP)
Cannot access web browser admin anymore to try to reload playlist files

/mebrainbroken

Questions:
1. Is there any extremely specific m3u file structure I might be missing here? Mine is not by IP addreses but by domain name: http://login:pswd@subdomain.domain.com:PORT/stream/channelid/1
Is this grammar allowed? Would changing it to IP address help?
2. Is there a chance, that the app checks (pings?) URL's before adding the m3u and checks if they are available (cause when i tried it the service was down). Is there any log file i could check what went wrong?
3. How to reload the playlists without the web browser admin and how to get it back on?
4. Is adding m3u by FTP wrong? Should I always do it by browser admin?
5. File format not supported - this error might "return" i believe - how do you set up file formats for the app?
6. Is there an easier way to set up autostarter in arm_6 without having the firmware http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/SamyGO ... re_Patcher

I hope this thread is still alive and either juuso or moras would be able to help a TV hacker virgin ;)
