install firmware if it detects one (firmware for e-series TV is not patched, it's original samsung firm with just changed versions number to xx90)

It happened with me. Downgrade from the server 149.154.159.134. TV UE32ES5507, the program T-MST10PDEUC-1030.

Hi, i would like to ask, whether somebody is working on a method of installing samygo patcheed firmware on T-MST10PDEUC-1031. As far as i know the current supporded version is 1030. I have just bought a ue40es6890 and it has alredy the 1031 firmware installed, but i would totally like to use samygo features on it.
Any response will be appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi

I'm not as technical as most people on this board. I have a UN55ES8000 and updated to the latest firmware 1047 (T-ECPAKUC) yesterday. What a HUGE mistake. It turned my beautiful TV into pure garbage. Colors are weird, pixelation, ghosting during movements, etc.

I found this website and read through this thread. I'm still a bit confused. From what I gathered, I'd changed the DNS on my TV so the TV would grab an "modified" original Samsung firmware re-coded with a different version number to trick the TV into re-flashing the firmware. I have three questions.

1) What is the actual Samunsung T-ECPAKUC version number on SamyGo server that the TV would grab?
2) If the modified firmware has been recoded with a different (higher) version number. After flashing it, does that mean the TV won't be able to grab official firmware from Samsung in the future (not that I want to after this fiesco)?

3) I changed my DNS and setting the OTN in Service Menu as per the thread. I got the 800 DNS error, just like many others. Is there a work around to this?

Thank you for answering my questions.

p.s. The new firmware seem to have changed many things on this TV, including how to access the service menu. I tried the TV off, info, menu, mute, power sequence with no success. Finally got fed up and decided to try access method for the "C" series (Mute, 1-8-2, power), and that worked.

Hi,

this is my first post.
I own an UE32ES6200 and i want to mount my Synology NAS on the TV via NFS cause DLNA is too uncomfortable for me (FF /RWD etc.).

Just tried to downgrade the telly (T-MST10PDEUC-1030) and got error 800.

Tcpdump and Wireshark gave a hint to an TLS error when establishing the https connection:

No. Time Source Destination Protocol Length Info
10 0.119500 31.18.x.y 149.154.159.134 TLSv1 73 Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Unknown CA)

Frame 10: 73 bytes on wire (584 bits), 73 bytes captured (584 bits)
Ethernet II, Src: Netgear_77:f0:be (20:4e:7f:77:f0:be), Dst: Cisco_d4:f8:d9 (00:26:cb:d4:f8:d9)
Internet Protocol Version 4, Src: 31.18.x.y (31.18.x.y), Dst: 149.154.159.134 (149.154.159.134)
Transmission Control Protocol, Src Port: 38466 (38466), Dst Port: https (443), Seq: 124, Ack: 2528, Len: 7
Secure Sockets Layer

Tried to open the site with firefox:

The certificate ist valid till 05.11.2012

Is this the reason for error 800?

Is there a solution?

Thanx in advance
Rio

I changed my DNS and setting the OTN in Service Menu as per the thread. I got the 800 DNS error too.

TV model: ES5500/T-MST10PDEUC-1029

Is there any solution?

is the T-MST10PDEUC-1029 supported? or 1028 is the last? (i've read it, but i read that the 1030 is the last too) can anybody clarify it?

thnx
