What is your TV firmware version.
May be I need a sw downgrade or change the country in service menu?

Thanks

Makes me think of my sat where I have to use a... signal attenuator (!) to catch channels on low and high frequencies :)

Hello.
In first sorry for my bad english.
Now my problem.
I have a UE40ES6530 with tuner BN40-00236A and change it with BN40-00238b.
I resetet the Smart Hub, user reset and factory reset.
But, the TV can't find and channels.

In Option:
Type 46A1AF6E (white)
Local Set EU_GER (grey)
Basic Model UE6500 (grey)
SVC Model 6530 (grey)
Tuner DVB_T2CS2 (white)
Front Color U-T-CG-M65 (white)

In Control > Sub Option:
All are white.
Only Region PANEURO are grey.

I think it's correct, because i'm living in Germany.
Which settings i have to change?

Help me please.
Thanks.

I didn't have to change any settings except the tuner settings to DVB_T2CS2. Does the the tv find normal DVB-T channels, the channels that you normaly watched before the tuner change?

Hello mjagunic.
Yes, it works.
But only the CV channels,
with HD channels are the problems.
So i find your post and do the upgrade.
The channels are searching via cable.

Hi everyone.

I've got Samsung UE40ES6710 and I checked that my internal tuner is BN40-00236a.
I've been wondering if this tuner BN40-00238b is comptible with HEVC? Can anyone confirm it?
I'm asking about it because this year we have a change from DVB-T to DVB-T2 HEVC in Poland.
Any information would be helpful.
