Hi,

I have the same network problem. I am trying to connect to my router/Internet via WiFi or LAN. I tried with several routers, several key encryptions or no encryption. I made a hard reset of the TV and after that updated it to the latest firmware. Still no luck with both types of connections :(

TV Model: EU40ES6800S

I am open to any suggestions. To check or change something in service menu?

Thank you in advance.

Did the TV got an IP address from the router?
If it did not get one, try setup manually the IP address.

Hi Meatballs,

No, the TV did not get an IP address from the router. I assume it's because it can't communicate with the router and therefore it doesn't get any IP.

I tried to set the IP manually but I am not sure what should I enter in all fields.

My router IP: 192.168.178.1

Therefore:
TV IP: 192.168.178.5
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (correct?)
Gateway: 192.168.178.1 (correct?)
DNS Server: no idea, but I have to write something

This is mine - Looks like you have also AVM FritzBoX

TV IP: 192.168.178.XX
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (correct!)
Gateway: 192.168.178.1 (correct!)
DNS Server: 192.168.178.1 (set also Router IP)

May you can set Router that he is forced to use verytime the same TV IP.

Yeah, for DNS setup the IP of the router.

Once this is setup, then try to ping your TV.
ping 192.168.178.5

I set the DNS as the IP of the router. It doesn't work. It can't connect.

The PING command also doesn't work (Destination host unreachable), as the TV is not connected to the router/network.

I can't find any setting in router to add manually a MAC/IP address. I can only see the devices connected to it.

Could someone send some print screens from the service menu; maybe are some settings messed up... Or any other suggestions? :) I fear it's something with the TV (hardware maybe). As mentioned before, I also tried to connect to router without any password protection, with WPS PIN, PBC, etc.

Thanks!

You can try to open the TV disconnect and reconnect the cables from motherboard like wifi module. and fasten the screws.
