NFS will probably work. It is SMB that most likely on our TV has some issues.
I've noted that TV with :
- 2003 FW have SMB working
- 2004 no feedback
- 2005 widget working from develop but no smb
- 2006 widget not working from develop but yes from usb
- 2007 it seems not working at all

My think is that Samsung is only work to block system vulnerability... ...blocking also samygo... ...for the moment ...;=)

Ok, i am back
I tried to install samygo with viewtopic.php?f=49&t=5859&p=41931#p41931
I confirm working SamyGO on UE46ES8090 with firmware T-ECPDEUC-2007

Everything works as before:
Virtual USB: OK
SAMBA: not working
FTP: OK
TELNET: OK
Shell web-client: OK
NFS: working, but only one of my 2 nfs server are shown
SSH: not working:

Code: Select all

VDLinux#> /mnt/etc/init.d/03_03_sshd.init start
no mount.ko is loaded. Safe usage of ssh server is impossible. Script exit
But i can load module mount.ko with this kernel:

Code: Select all

VDLinux#> insmod /mnt/lib/modules/2.6.35.13/kernel/drivers/pty/mount.ko
VDLinux#> lsmod | grep mount
mount 3948 0 - Live 0xbf71f000

Code: Select all

VDLinux#> cat /.version
"Echo.P 0092" KERNEL MODULE VERSION : "0081.0701, DTV, Echo.P, release, DEU_BRANCH"
cifs module is also loaded:

Code: Select all

VDLinux#> insmod /mnt/lib/modules/2.6.35.13/kernel/fs/cifs/cifs.ko
VDLinux#> lsmod | grep cifs
cifs 199500 0 - Live 0xbf725000
Thanks for being back with samygo

Internal Camera issue while SamyGo installed - ES7000/8000

I have an UE40ES7000 (T-ECPDEUC_2003.4) with an build in internal Camera. I recently wanted to test the cameras function and found out that SamyGO prevent that the camera of working properly.

I dubble checked this:
1.) Set the TV back to factory default
2.) SamartHub was clear again.
3.) SamyGo app was still there (but not installed)
4.) Reinstalled the SmartHub apps
5.) Camera works with the Camera app of Samsung
6.) Installed SamyGo again.. SamyGo works instantly...
7.) But right after SamyGo installed the Camera refused to work properly (no live-view, no photo recording, only Video recoring is possible but only in "blinde mode" without live-view)

I think that the internal camera is installed as an USB device and because of SamyGO something gone wrong...

Could you pls check this? Or is there already an workaround?

Good news hubecker. If cifs is correctly started may be it is worth to update to 2007 :D .
Could you kindly test this and report ?:
. /dtv/SGO.env
/mnt/etc/init.d/04_04_samba.init start

Thanks
