I did test and without a shop option I turn on my 3D glasses with handset. Unfortunately, we still need to enable 3D mode on TV. Perhaps it is the fault of 3D glasses that without 3D mode does not establish the connection and automatically switch off.

I performed the next test with cheap speakers and sound works great! In addition, it works in parallel with the connected SoundBar(F751), so i have the sound on the two devices. Many thanks for libBTHP2.

Sorry didnt get it right... ?MAC Adreess stuff is partly faked..? Where? H?h? :)
Secure shit is impossible to deal with... -What? Which "secure shit"?
Could you please explain it for a dummy? With little more Details?

Patch2 does something which unlocks pairing on E? So.. Patch1 just opens the BT Search, without any further modifications?
Right?

Just would like to understand whats exactly going on in the patch... Im sure, it could help me to setup a raspi3 BT Module the right way to work with TV...

you can go to your localshop and buy any bt headphone/speaker and try with your TV and then after you did some probe you can turn it back. (I did this telling them its not working with my TV. And they give me back money)

Trial and Error Method in real life... :mrgreen:

Well if you really want details you need to get IDA and analyze code. I can't explain days research in few words.
Just for example, there function checks "part" of MAC address (2 bytes, don't remember which ones, was long ago...):

Code: Select all

if ( (a1[505] & 0x1F) != 4 || (a1[506] & 0xFC) != 4 )
    result = 0;
I force return 1 instead. Then remaining part of MAC is amongst Bluetooth handshake protocol (PINcode->encrypted="secure", possibly even on driver level).

I see, this is an external speaker.
I thought it could be used as a headset ... if someone has experience a BT headset working with ES please share the model.

Thanks :)

Seeing "mitigated" results, it's not on agenda for now. You still can use libBTHP2 for that purpose :)
