Hi,
I'm trying to use a wifi stick based on the 8192cu chip on an E-series tv.
I have adapted the PID:VID of the stick and the tv recognises a samsung wireless stick.
However, setting up a network does not work.
Also with a new 8192cu.ko module loaded, it does not work.
If I remove the original rt5572sta module, then the tv is also not able
to recognize a samsung stick. It seems that the wifi stick is recognized
by the PID:VID and then uses the rt5572sta module to acces it.
Any ideas how I can unload the rt5572 module and use my 8192cu
module instead?
Best regards,
Ruud

Re: using non-samsung wifi stick
have you compiled 8192cu.ko against your samsung sources?

Re: using non-samsung wifi stick
I used the Samsung development environment for it.

L.S.,
When using dmesg, everything seems to be ok.
Are there any other log files I could check?
