hi, can you pls check
http://linux.zsolttech.com/Samsung/SamyGO-WakeLAN.zip

unzip, copy to usb, login to tv via ssh or telnet than execute the proggie

Code: Select all

Usage: wakelan [options] [mac] [broadcast] [port]
    -b addr broadcast address
-m mac mac address of host
-p port UDP port to broadcast to
    -v[v] version
http://gsd.di.uminho.pt/jpo/software/wa ... wto-3.html

if it works for you can make a start script to execute it if you switch on the tv, may some day you can call it from a menue ;)

if it works for you pls. inform us how long you pc need for wakeup process (shares reachable over network)

I wanted to have reversal of this process. Make TV compatible to Wake-On-Lan.

hi,

think is better to go another way, so can you download
http://linux.zsolttech.com/Samsung/SamyGO-WakeLAN.zip

in is a new version with init-script

so copy the wakelan binary into SamyGO/opt/privateer/usr/bin/
and the init script into SamyGO/etc/init.d/
(i assume you are using samygo extensions)
in the init-script you can set mac address (did it already, but better check) and timeout to wait for wake up the computer,
or you just start the extensions again after you pc is up.

but i am not shure that it works if the timeout is more than 25 seconds

but yes the reverse would be cool, to make the tv start with a magic packet sent from your computer or NAS; concievably from a scheduler.
is there any way to shut down the tv from the telnet login? possibly via /mtd_boot/MicomCtrl xx i guess.
