I also tried to unsquash mtd_appdata on Laptop and then start samsung sw on TV.

grab latest oe repo and follow wiki instructions.
i don't know about exeDSP on your tv, it worked in past, maybe it was issue related latest issues.

Grabbed latest oe repository, compiled and tried.

Kernel boots fine.
samsung-install.sh now runs fine: it finished with no error.

Starting Samsung software I get some error, nothing appears on tv.

In attach three logs:

install_oe.log first kernel start, sw installation and first try
start_samsug.log restarted tv, and started only samsung sw
original_fw.log log of original (onboard) firmware: started tv and changed channel

Just tried.... we're reaching the target!

kernel loads fine and samsung software starts
Pressing buttons on the remote turns on the TV screen

Here's the report of first try:

Channel list is empty (it's not loading the common one) so I change to HDMI1 IN and i can see picture from my sat receiver.
I browsed in TV menus (settings, language, etc)
Tried to start Media player (no success)
TV is not responding quickly, it seems that some commands are not executed.

Second try:
Rebooted TV and started channel search using only DTV aerial search.
After a few second it hanged, picture is corrupted.

Logs are attached.

settings are stored in /mtd_rwarea so on usb you have empty directory so tv set defaults.
i wonder what happen with media player
